At Gracias African Safaris, your comfort, safety, and viewing experience are at the heart of every adventure. That’s why we provide custom-designed safari vehicles that are built to handle the rugged African terrain while offering you the best possible wildlife encounters.
Our fleet consists of well-maintained, extended 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers, specifically modified for game drives across Tanzania’s national parks. These vehicles are known for their durability, reliability, and comfort, even in the most remote regions. On all our safaris we make use of specially designed and converted Toyota Land Cruisers. We have put a lot of thought into adapting them to the rugged African bush, the rough conditions and the bumpy roads, providing maximum comfort and at the same time ensuring the best safari experience for our guests.
Our safari vehicles have large sliding windows and pop-up roofs, offering excellent views and giving our guests fantastic opportunities for safe and undisturbed photography while on game drives.

Pop Up Roof
The roof can be removed so that you can stand-up and have a better vantage for viewing wildlife.
Power Inverters
All our vehicles have 110v and 220v power adapters to make it possible to charge camera batteries.
Cooler Box
All our vehicles have a small fridge to keep beverages cold. This is not to be taken for granted .
Coffee Box
We have a coffee box with snacks, coffee and tea that can be enjoyed at anytime on a game drive.
Wild Life Books and Maps
You will find a set of books and guides about mammals and birds. There are maps of the area as well.
First Aid Kit
Every safari vehicle is equipped with a first aid kit. Our guides are trained to use this.
